Nottoway CARES and Nottoway Allies for Paws

The NOTTOWAY CARES $50,000 matching gift challenge was met! In September the Nottoway CARES Build a Better Shelter campaign received an anonymous gift of $50,000 to be matched dollar for dollar between September 1, 2024 and January 15, 2025.

THANK YOU to everyone who made individual donations, supported fundraising events, purchased merchandise and filled canisters at retail and public locations throughout the county.

The Mary Morton Parson Foundation challenge grant of $50,000 to support the building of a new Nottoway County animal shelter was met

and exceeded. The grant to the NOTTOWAY CARES Build a Better Shelter campaign required raising $50,000 in matching funds to receive the grant. Donations of $54,015 were raised between June 6 and September 6, 2022 when all donations counted toward the challenge goal.
